Data Deletion Policy

Welcome to Appmosphere – Your Data, Your Control At Appmosphere, we prioritize your privacy and are committed to giving you full control over your data. This page outlines how you can request the deletion of your data and the steps we take to ensure your information is handled securely and responsibly.

What Does Data Deletion Mean?

When you request to delete your data: We permanently remove your personal information, posts, messages, and other data associated with your account from our servers. We ensure that deleted data cannot be retrieved or restored Any information shared by you with other users (e.g., comments, messages, or collaborations) may remain visible to those users, but your account will no longer be associated with it.

How to Request Data Deletion?

We’ve made it easy for you to request the deletion of your data. Follow the steps below:

  1. Through the App
    • Log in to your Appmosphere account.
    • Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Data Deletion Request.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm your request.
  2. Through the Website:
    • Log in to your account on our website.
    • Go to Account Settings > Privacy Options > Request Data Deletion.
    • Submit your request, and we’ll process it within the specified timeline.
  3. Contact Our Support Team: If you’re unable to access your account, email our support team at datadeletion@appmosphere.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include the email address linked to your account for verification purposes.

What Happens After You Submit a Request?

Verification: We may request additional information to verify your identity and ensure the security of your account.
Processing: Once verified, we begin processing your request immediately. This process may take up to 30 days, depending on the volume of requests.
Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been successfully deleted.

Important Notes About Data Deletion

  • Retention of Certain Data: Some data may be retained as required by law, such as records for tax, legal, or regulatory purposes. Any retained data will be stored securely and deleted when no longer necessary.
  • Teen Accounts: For users with teen accounts, guardian approval may be required before a data deletion request is processed.
  • Content Shared with Others: Posts, comments, or messages you’ve shared with other users may remain visible to them even after your account is deleted. However, your account details will no longer be associated with such content.
  • Third-Party Integrations: If you’ve shared content through integrations with other platforms, we recommend reviewing their data deletion policies as Appmosphere cannot control data stored on external platforms.

Your Rights

Under privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to:

  • Access the data we’ve collected.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your data entirely.
  • Restrict or object to the processing of your data.
